maphraw
Would anyone happen to know the procedure for replacing a lost car registration booklet. I have a photocopy of it. My guess is that I have to go to the police station and report the loss and then go to the department of motor vehicles (or whatever it is called) in the province in which it is registered, pay a hefty fee and get a new one. Kwasaki
Don't know how someone would go about losing an important document like this but anyway, report to police right away with the copy of the book you have, that is right away don't leave it. With the police report go to your DLT ( Department of Land & Transport ) no hefty costs involved.

DILLIGAD
Leave it in the glove-box?Great idea! Its taken me 2 years, over 200k in fee"s and lots of anguish to get the ownership of a truck back in my name when i certain fraudster stole the book, changed ownership and borrowed her casino float from a finance co. with my truck as security. Put your ownership book somewhere where only you know its location, is my advice!
