New Closing Time

Featured Replies

FYI!

The new closing time is a bummer will be good to go back to Europe in june for some serious all night party. (see you in Portugal for the Euro 2004).

All kidding aside I talked to a chap in my appartment building that has experienced this experiment in Manila and Phnom phen. It lasted ONE DAY. All the bars were empty and tourism dropped by 50 percent. Do you think that yhailand can afford such a drop, I do not think so. The effect will probably be a positive one give it a month and you see that all bars can stay opened until 2 AM again and some will even get extended opening hours to boost tourism again.

Remember were you saw it first. have youre party at youre hotel or in your apt. during march in April things will go back to normal in time for Songkran

Cheers!!!
