March 13, 200422 yr The best first date i ever had was while i was living in England...I had been interested in a feamale work colleague for some time and was working on asking her out for a date. She obviously knew my intentions and decided to get things moving faster and invited me to help her redecorate her living room lol. It was the best first date i ever had , and we ended up living happily together for 10yrs. Unfortunately she is no longer with us..but i will always love her. Take care Mac. Your wife objected, or felt threatened by the extra body in the bed ? She passed away (died)..you idiot. Perhaps you should have spelt that out rather than using antiquated euphemisms.

March 20, 200422 yr What a bunch of selfish, career oriented ladies you are, who do not want to sacrifice their independence, well-being for raising a family. And there are SO MANY of you. The end of the human race is getting closer,...
March 20, 200422 yr Blue~ So many people on the face of the earth and you think that some women not wanting to reproduce means the end? I think that some of them actually do expect to have kids before it is all over. But want to wait until they are better situated, with or without partner. Sadly some significant number of that group will find that the later they wait, the less likely they will be able to conceive. No one said life was fair, right? Others just don't have that maternal instinct and bless them for not indulging in something they aren't interested in or have a talent for simply because they are "expected" to. If the world comes to an end, it is unlikely that the cause will be due to women everywhere deciding to keep their legs together. Jeepz

March 21, 200422 yr I think that some of them actually do expect to have kids before it is all over. But want to wait until they are better situated, with or without partner. Jeepz you're absolutely correct. It all comes down to finances and extended maternity leave esp if you're doing it on your own.
March 21, 200422 yr Many females raised during the 70's and 80's were presented with motherhood as generally a handicap, a hindrance and an obstacle for a woman to reach her full potential. So I guess the stats represent what's happening in society quite well. You can thank your auntie Gloria for that.

Actually I can't - my auntie Gloria would have me in the kitchen cooking up a feast for my family, just like a good housewife (eastern european background )

March 21, 200422 yr I'm married, childless and lazy, so I guess I don't qualify either What a bunch of selfish, career oriented ladies you are, who do not want to sacrifice their independence, well-being for raising a family. And there are SO MANY of you. The end of the human race is getting closer,... Sorry to disappoint you Bluecat but it is my Thai husband's choice not to have children, not mine. He is unusual, needless to say, but he has made it clear that he does not want children and being the good, little, obedient wifey that I am I have acceded to his wishes Besides, with a world population growing at a massive rate, doesn't it behoove us all to do our share and keep the population down??

I do not think it is very unusual for a man not to want children,... I am sure he would like you very much, says he can't stand the screaming or the disgusting messes. Can't say I enjoy them too much myself But to be honest, we are both constantly harassed by both Thai men and women who think it unnatural that we don't have kids after such a long marriage. I have had lots of lovely advice from, "don't take your birth control and don't tell him" to "I had injections to get pregnant" . Needless to say, it seems to be universally agreed that we are both strange
March 21, 200422 yr I have had lots of lovely advice from, "don't take your birth control and don't tell him" I said before that you were lucky but in fact your husband is the lucky one. Believe me, I know a lot of men thinking like your husband and a lot of women following that lovely advice,...
March 21, 200422 yr Thanks for that bluecat (gotta love someone with cat in their name ) But sneaky has never been my style. Besides, what kind of relationship is that if one partner can't trust the other?
March 21, 200422 yr But sneaky has never been my style. Besides, what kind of relationship is that if one partner can't trust the other? Agree, sbk. But sometimes, sometimes, nature overpowers reason. And who is right? Nature or men not wanting to have children,... But you replied to that already, the world population is growing too fast and we have to do something about it,...
March 21, 200422 yr Thanks for that bluecat (gotta love someone with cat in their name ) But sneaky has never been my style. Besides, what kind of relationship is that if one partner can't trust the other? So very true sbk. Principles first.
