I have been searching for decent Builders and Roofers for 13 Years, certainly a lot of Cowboys in this town,

please Beware !!!

My roof leaked for Years, had a full new roof put on, it still leaked so ended up having it foamed, now ok,

with 10 year guarantee.......

The problem i found was, I paid the roofer and it never rained for months, then when it did rain it

was just the same or sometimes worse, tried to call him, changed number or left the town !

Good luck, I hope you find one !

I have wondered about the spray on foam. It seems to me it would work well, but other posts have said it's terrible; makes the house hotter, the leaks just go to another location, etc. That combined with the high price scared me away. I'd like to here more comments.

I had the house roof foamed nearly 2 years ago now, have been highly delighted with it, and

now worry free with the guarantee.....

I have no regrets about having it done, as i was really

fed up with leaking roofs and no decent roofers to fix it. Relatives of mine also living in Pattaya

have also had several of there property roofs foamed also.

If you want the link with contact numbers of the firm who did mine, please PM me..

The Pattaya based firm i used have been in the business for many many years, he knows what he is doing.

When i got him around for a quote, i was highly surprised it was not as much as i thought it was going to be.

I never regret having it done ! Now it can rain forever i am 100% drip free haha.

I had the roof of my patio foam sprayed because due to it's shape and very low slope, 3 different roofers couldn't get it leak free, even after redoing the whole steel construction. Keep in mind that I have Ceris clay roof tiles which have double water locks and are a higher standard than regular concrete roof tiles

It was leak proof after the first spray, but leaks returned after a few months, so they spayed it once more free of charge, and leaks returned again after a few months.

The problem with spray foam is that it keeps expanding for a long time and pushes the tiles up, and there water can enter the foam.

One big issue with leaks in a foam sprayed roof is that it's very difficult to locate the leak, when there is one. Where the water drips on the ceiling can be many meters away from where the water gets between the foam and the tiles.

I have now all the spaces on top of the tiles filled with bitumen ribbon sealer, then painted it with the special paint from my tile manufacturer, and for now it's leak free.

I put this in before, give them a try.

After many years of trying to get some Thai workers to do repairs of all types, I finally found a Husband and Wife team. They have just finished painting, tiling, lifting my ceiling, putting up an awning over the car and heaps of other repairs.

His name is UTE his mobile No is 0807156770

His wife’s name is PORN her number is 0853933864

Neither of them speak English, but your Thai wife or girlfriend can I was pleased with all the hard work they did, I recommend them.

Since they did the work on my home, a lot of people have asked for their number as they were also pleased with what they saw. explain to them what you require and they will give you a quote.

Further to this info, I would also like to say that after they repaired the tiles on my roof and all the heavy rain we recently had, I had NO leaks at all.

Give them a call, it cant hurt.

For your Info and action.

Up to you, you asked for recommendations and I gave one. Worried about an address, how about phoning them and asking?

Maybe I'll do just that.

My main trade is webmaster, and usually websites without addresses and names are telltale.

I also do reckon that it might not apply in 100% of cases.
