IP Ranges blocked

I have just found that, in the past 24 hours, a bunch of IP addresses in the same UK datacentre appear to have been blocked by 3BB. I am going to call them today as there are just a bunch of benign sites on there. I was wondering, however, whether other people could just check them. As an example:

www.caledoniayouth.org

I wondered if people could just check and let me know if they can see these on their own connections.

Which ISP? Are you using a proxy?

I can get torrentday and it is not on the same server. Try a hard refresh (CTRL+F5). If that doesn't work refresh your connection (easiest way is a computer reboot).

I thought that was the case. It seems to be blocked at the "exit" node from Thailand. Strange.

are also blocked (I have a list of nearly 200 on a UK server).

I have contacted 3BB and let them know the problem (though I have a sneaking suspicion they don't have a clue....not complaining...they answer the phone and are polite...that's a start). Best guess is that plenty of calls to ISPs are all that we can do then wait.

Yep, that is what is becoming apparent. Letting the ISPs know is the only answer, I guess.

Ive been on True for 2 years or so in this area (upper Sukumwit) and never had a problem with them, but in the last 6-8 weeks or so lots of weird things have been happening such as when some sites were getting redirected to ads:

and there's been a few days in the last month when my connection has gone off for several hours, overall Im sure my speed is slower (I dont bother checking with the meaningless results from Speedtest.net) on top of that the few times Ive tried gaming online my connections to servers have been much slower....

I can get the bbc from here but kickstarter is dead too.

FYI You should use http://testmy.net and set the server to Singapore for accurate readings. FAR superior speed test tool.

It might also be a simple failure of the routing tables for some destinations, due to for example a faulty update.

My guess is that it will get corrected within 24 hours.

My experience also. Intermittant connection at home. At work, connection not stable enough to allow satisfactory data transfer between Thailand and UK - result being time outs during bulk upload and download of data. Pisser, because it's very difficult to go back and find what in any given data set has been transfered and what has not. More than a pisser, a real pain the ass. Hope it's fixed soon.
