For those interested in gardening, there's a new plant market that happens Fridays/Saturdays opposite the Chalong Police Station on Chaofa East. Looking around this morning, their prices certainly were a lot cheaper than the usual garden centres. I think they bring the plants down from Bangkok in bulk, hence the low prices.

But not every week for sure. Also people from Saphan Hin have been buying plants at Hayaek Chalong to sell at Loy Kratong. That tells you everything about the prices at Saphan Hin. Anyway, just passing on the information.
