Bars and Restaurants raided by Banglamung District Chief



PATTAYA: -- On Tuesday Morning a press conference was held at Banglamung City Hall by the District Chief, Khun Sakchai who announced the arrest of 8 people after licensing irregularities were found at four venues situated on Pattaya Third Road in South Pattaya.

The four venues are: The Makkie Barbeque Restaurant which was found to be selling Whisky without the permitted license and The Demface Bar which was found to be committing the same offence.

The Paradise Tomboy Karaoke Bar was found to be operating outside of its permitted opening times and patrons under the age of 20 were found inside. The Jakkie Karaoke Sky Pub was found to be committing the same offences.

Reminds me of the story some months back where a policeman was caught on a mobile phone when he came in to collect his "fee". He did not seem to care about the filming and proceeded to extort and threaten.

It tends to make me think that there is some kind of ongoing connection here... clearly.

Having a bar in Pattaya is somewhat like living in Poland, being invaded by various elements all the time.

Be it Pattaya Police, Banglamung Police, Chonburi Police, or the Bangkok guys.

Ah well, a well filled trough will attract multiple diners.
