Underage Motorbike driver caught-up in East Pattaya purse snatch

PATTAYA:--On Monday afternoon Nongprue Police were called into-action to assist a 14 year old female motorbike driver who had just become the victim of another street robbery in the Pattaya area.

Officers made their way to the train track which runs along the eastern side of Pattaya and were confronted by a scene of anger as locals managed to apprehend the suspected robber, later named as Khun Surasak aged 32.

He drove up beside the victim and managed to grab her purse which contained 70 Baht in cash and make-up, but the victim was able to follow the suspect and summoned assistance from other motorists who were able to apprehend the man.

She was underage, so surely the alleged robber should be allowed to point too.

Logic dictates two important points:

1] The young man simply thought she looked under age and was simply trying to get at her ID card to justify calling the police and reporting her.

2] He cannot possibly be guilty simply on the grounds that the Ferry sank, and on this point alone, he had no other decision remaining for his need to feed his brothers and sisters and sick grandmother.

This young man is a model citizen, and should be released with plaudits forthwith!!!
