Popular Post anon467367354
seems pretty much par for the course, arson seems to be a favorite of the Thaksin supporters as we've all seen in the past. I hope they catch the culprits and they get what they deserve.

Popular Post ratcatcher
'Lard Prao police and forensic officials inspected the house this morning but have not yet established the motive and who was behind' the attack. Right maybe we can help the cops? The target was an Anti Thaksin movement leader. So the chances are good that the attackers were Pro Thaksin? The motive surely was to shut him up or worse burn him and his family?

NongKhaiKid
Funny how the colour red , as in shirts, and fire seem to go together. Do they run classes on arson ? Mind you I knew a pub in Glasgow where allegedly somebody threw a petrol bomb into it but one of the locals drank it before it exploded. The Sarry Heid for those who might know.

Thai people are so confrontational and like to use violence. I missed that news.... Can you talk us through what the anti-gov protesters were up to that made them comparable with the red shirt lot. As far as I see it with the petrol bomb attack, the attempt to start a brawl with peaceful protesters and dragging 3 protesters out of their pickup to be beaten to a pulp all by armed red shirts all within the last 20 hours alone. How about this. Versus this.... Probably a much better comparison. Edited November 30, 2013 by Sheryl personal attack removed by Moderator. Thai people are so confrontational and like to use violence. I don't recall, perhaps you might refresh my memory, when did the PAD or yellow-shirts last petrol-bomb the home of a Red-Shirt leader, or even merely pour blood all over the gate & walls ? Never mind, PM-Yingluck will shorty join in the general condemnation of this terrorist act, by some over-excited political-activist ... won't she ?

Artisi
Big decision now for Tarit, should the throwing of petrol bombs bring a greater or lesser charge than blowing whistles? He needs to maintain consistency in all these matters as you can't have one side disadvantaged compared to the other.

The anti government demonstrators are doing what MUST be done and are doing it paacefully to make a point. The Red actions outlined above not to mention putting metal spikes on the roads a few days ago and damaging people's cars in a hugely dangerous way in efforts to stop rival protestors coming into Bangkok are a damning indictment of people in charge and part of the reason why they MUST be removed and banished as soon as possible !!! PT / UDD = REDS == EVIL, whether you like to believe it or not, this is how it is. The demonstrations are a battle of good verses evil. I hope and pray that good triumphs this time. aaacorp
@tingtongteesood. You mean the good ones are the ones who don t respect election and want to get rid of democracy to put an appointed cabinet? If they are so confident that what is good is to beat a journalist to the pulpl as well as threaten an elected government of civil war... do some reaserch and you will see that these democrat leaders just have another hidden agenda : provoke unrest for their own benefits
