About 5 years ago I bought a clear plastic cylindrical storage container with a top that you turn back and forth to create a vacuum seal. Crisp/dry items like crackers/croutons then stay fresh a long time. I believe it was made in Japan. I bought it on a whim and thought it might be one of those gimmicks you use once and drop, but it has proven quite useful. I bought it at Central, but have not seen one since. If anybody knows where I can buy more in the BKK area please let me know.
