From Prasat its about 40 km south on the 214 highway. Follow the signs. There is a white commutator van service that you just wave down about 50 baht to the crossing. No cost for Thailand. The 24 highway from Nang Rong east is a major suicide run I was on part of it yesterday. The 214 from Prasat to the crossing is not any better. Please take care. This about 12 km from the crossing and yes there are 2 ATM's on you left just before Thai departure. Its been a race track all day throught Kap Choeng. Correct , it is that office. It is not like they ask T money, they just give your stamp and say "200 bath". They do not insist when you refuse to pay. The sand bag outpost is where the army is for checking foreign arrivals and in back is the secured parking which can be had for 100 baht per day. I was told that the soldiers like to keep a record of which country you are from and where you are going in Thailand.Never seen it at any other border crossing. Totally pointless exercise IMO.
