My wife is considering buying a condo in the Plus 2 project on the recommendation of a friend from Pattalung for around 2.5mill . We have family in Songkhla and know the area pretty well - so just seeking anyones views about the condo market in Hat Yai in general for investment and any knowledge anyone may have on the Plus Property Development project. The project is currently off-plan and nearly all sold out.

Sorted that out - dont buy a new condo http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/647299-how-do-i-sell-my-condominium-in-bangkok/page-2 and the area in Hat Yai floods - so now looking in BKK at second hand - some real bargains to be had - but not for the original buyers obviously.

Plus 4 Condo is located in one of the night life area.
The area have many bars, clubs, bars, karaokes, massage, hotels, guesthouses, etc.

Currently, it's not farang area.

Does Hat Yai have any farang areas?

Malaysians and Singaporeans yes, but it's not really a farang destination.

Thanks for the update - have quickly ruled it out as an option anyway. Have't seen many farangs on the the three ocassions Ive been down there.
