Can someone please tell me where this place is?

Featured Replies

About three years ago I was taken to visit a place not that far from Pattaya ( to the South ) and on the other side of Sukhumvit Road, which was a kind of park with small bridges crossing a lake and where people go to feed the fish.

But I can't remember where it is or how to get there?sad.png

Would someone be able to please point me in the right direction

Were there lots of temples there around a bigger lake?

yes thumbsup.gif

Was it Silverlake?

Or is it the lake by the chinese Temple

Maybe this place? Lots of vendors selling fish food and fish to be released. Lots of temples too. Rather a nice place, actually. I particularly like the commemorative houses that people have had built along the lake shore.

It is called Wat Yansangwararam and can be reached by turning left after going though Baan Amphur from Sukumvit. Just watch for the blue information signs

Those "houses" were built in commemoration of one of the King's auspicious birthdays. Some are quite elaborate but are falling into decay from lack of care / maintenance
