Lite Beer
Man sought for killing boys and woman in Chon BuriThe Sunday NationCHONBURI: -- Police have sought a warrant for the arrest of a 30-year-old man suspected of killing two boys and a woman aged 19 who was babysitting them early yesterday. They suspect the killings came from an alleged attempt to rape the girl and steal valuables in Bang Lamung in Chon Buri. After a report of homicides at a housing estate in Nong Preu sub-district at 4am, police found three bodies in the house and collected as evidence a broken whisky bottle, a gold necklace from in front of the house, plus a notebook computer from near the fence. The boys' mother, whose husband works abroad, said she had earlier brought a neighbour to work as a dancer in Pattaya. The mother returned home to see the neighbour's boyfriend waiting on his motorcycle. After he left, she entered the house and found the gruesome murder scene. A security guard at the estate, Prasit Sith, told police the suspect went into the estate at 1.45am and came out before returning at 3am with a bottle of whisky and sat waiting in front of the house.Chon Buri police chief Pol Maj-General Khatcha Thatsat said the estate's security camera captured the suspect, later identified as Natthawut Saetia. Police suspect he was angry that the boys' mother brought his girlfriend back late so he bought booze to drink while waiting and broke into the house in an attempt to rape the babysitter, leading to the murders. The suspect also reportedly ransacked the house to steal valuables -- The Nation 2014-01-

Popular Post Yunla
RIP. My prayers are with the family of the boys, and also of the young lady. The death of children in such a brutal and pointless manner is too painful to even understand, unless one is actually forced to by direct circumstance. I can only pray that these little angels are now in a place of love and eternal joy beyond this material world, and the mother is somehow able to find solace in this fact, if nothing else. I also pray that she has a loving group of friends who will carry her along this terrible rocky road. And also that the monster who did this horrific and senseless act is caught and punished until the end of his days.
chooka
The story is a little jumbled. The mother hires a baby sitter to look after the boys whilst she takes a neighbour, I presume the guys girlfriend to dance in a club or bar. The boyfriend arrives to get his girlfriend who has not returned yet from her job. The guys sits outside drinking whisky and is getting pissed off so he decides to go inside and rape/attempt the babysitter but couldn't so in retaliation for mum keeping his girlfriend out so late kills her children and the baby sitter.

" Is there a total breakdown here in Thai society between cause and effect ??? The illusion that Thailand is a land full of happy smiling Buddhists is pretty much gone for me. Instead there seems to be a whole lot of people who are broken inside, and ready to commit extreme violence at the drop of a hat... And to the go home if you do not like it brigade, cool your jets. I like living here, but probably execute a lot more caution than TAT would like..... And on the side note of low IQ decisions, why would he be mad at the mom ?? It was his girlfriend who was out boinking a farang and was late. The mom was just acting as a free taxi.... Popular Post JeremyBowskill
Nice job by the security guard. Letting some unknown person sit outside a house he doesn't own or rent, getting oliver twist on a bottle of whiskey and then break in to commit these terrible crimes. Exactly what is the guard there for? Lifting up the barrier and saluting like a <deleted> I guess..........
noitom
In this Thai case, a "man," the suspect, is referred to as a man and not a Thai man. Had it been a forein suspect, the Thai press would have identified the suspected perpetrator as a "foreigner."

Popular Post guzzi850m2
Yes the kids are American/Thai, RIP little ones. The 7 year old was attending the same school as my boy. I hope they take this guy down as a mad dog. Even the Thais are shocked about this and he will thankfully not get easy off the hook when they get him and will min face life in prison. I hope he rot in hell.

A lot of these are not guards, trained in observation, strange movements at odd hours, your comment was to a T. Most of these GUARDS are from any walk of life that applies for the job-----uniform---big I AM work, perks from some residents to watch their houses, no perks he doesn't give a fig. chooka
What is it with individually naming all the police who attended, what relevance does that have to the story or incident? This is not about them or their 3 minutes of fame so why not simply say Police attended the scene? Whilst they brag about how they got their names in the paper there is a brutal crime to be investigated and two small children are dead. They can wait for the photo opertunity if the catch this animal and then stand around smiling like Cheshire cats.

Unfortunately, this is the real world, where there are no angels and praying has no discernible influence on what does or does not happen. I feel the same as you in many ways, but you clearly have no appreciation of the fact that the mother is probably a Buddhist who does not share the same beliefs as you. Her own belief system will hopefully give her some solace, but clearly losing two children is horrific. Much better than praying is taking action in the real world to prevent such things happening in the future.
