Marriage paperwork from British Embassy by post?

Featured Replies

I need to get some paperwork from the British embassy in Bangkok to take to the Amphur in Phuket to get a marriage certificate; I'm 7 months pregnant so the journey is out of the question.. is it possible to get the paperwork by post/ fax/ email? Apparently I need a document to say I am free to marry or something along those lines...?

You need to have a document from the embassy, than have it translated into Thai and next certified by the Thai foreign ministry.

Normally a translation agency can take care of the last.

The embassy website specifically says that for the letter you must appear in person.
