We are going to Krabi at the end of the month and was looking for recommendations of moped rental places please.

My advice is not to ride a moped. It's too dangerous! Get around some other way. Scan through the forums for reports of motorcycle accidents. You'll be horrified. You should be aware of how very risky it is to ride a two-wheeler in Thailand.

There are loads of scooter rental companies in Ao Nang, just walk down the main road are there is one every 100 yards.

They are all normally about the same price and I don't know of any that rip people off, it is not the same as Phuket.

Accidents are frequent in Thailand but if you drive sensibly, don't drink and drive and wear a helmet should be fine.

There are many and if you are careful and alert you will be fine... Also wear the helmet not only for your safety but the police may stop you and fine you.... Enjoy your holiday!
