An hour ago some cars with Southern Mob have passed my house here in Surat. Now they force schools even in the country side to shut down tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that must be quite disturbing, even more so as it will be affecting children.

Very smart move by Suthep, not only take over the rights of Bangkok citizen but also their own people in the South. Hope all you farangs who kiss Suthep rear end get what you deserve if he wins.

Suthep supporters with Comrade Suthep on top are getting near anarchy. Would the red shirts have done that in the South, they would have been chopped or shot on the spot.

I only hope someone is arresting Suthep in the very near future and put an end to that crap. Thailand becomes a lawless country and the laughing stock of the world.

BTW I supported the removal of the Red shirts in 2010 but not killing a hundred of them. I also do not want to see that the current government will use the same tactics as Suthep did in 2010.

Another one with a one sided memory lapse, It has become a laughing stock more over the past 3 years. Whoever killed who was everyone to blame, without the reds there no killings, Had the reds gone into BKK with the same no violence attitude possibly no deaths.

This lot have not used tyres soaked in gasoline, and 2 meter sharpened bamboos and sectioned off areas into fortresses. and we all know many were using weapons of all sorts. but you will not want to post things like this as you want to make everything look bad for the protesters.

be honest and show all you know. (I noted you said you supported the removal of the red shirts) how the hell would you have done that----talk

What do you want then ? there may well not be a PTP or a Yingluck after the probes start in earnest. for this man you think is a nut -near all the government, better start building some big jails. oh forgot the government are broke so no money to build.

we need more than one sniper to clean up this mock up -this shambles-with a person in Dubai laughing his socks off at the havoc he alone has caused, hope your proud of him.

i dont support either side but to think suthep is going to win after leaving a trail of dead bodies

and destruction accross bkk is just not going to happen

at least yingluck was voted in by the majority ,as bad as she might be ,he doesnt want to go head

to head with her in an election which says a lot

What a bunch of scum bags these protesters are. And they want to call themselves peaceful protesters. What a bunch of crap.

Yea! you're right about that, I think they may come from the village that u come from too, and were previously R/S's, that still need a bit of re-education.

Politicians are liars. It's in the job description.

What amazes me is the sudden appearance of Thai posters who are quite clearly here with an agenda, being either to spew their anger at the government or demonize to Suthep, and they are joining verbal forces with TV posters who share their likes and hatreds.

TV has become a microcosm of the conflict. Polarized thinking with blinders on makes for a bad way to drive.

Amazing. Thainess is now contagious....

"Rallying in front of the City Hall, the protesters demanded that all civil servants abandon their works and join their campaign against Ms. Yingluck′s government instead."

Demanded, threatened coerced etc, amazing!

Nothing spectacular compared to what the reds did with their protests: torching buildings, shooting people etc.

The protesters didn't kill people. Nor did they throw the granades in the recent attacks. Who did, we'll hope to find out.

No court has ever proved torching buildings, shooting people etc. were the job of the RedShirt. Until then, they are just lies, smears of the DEM's PCAD?PDRC to mislead the people.

The champions of democracy at work ....

Suthep's government by thuggery. Surely they could have just waited a wee while for the gentleman's impeding re-education camps.

It is democracy at work; majority rules, Thai style

Yes they did, they are killing and maiming their own people trying to get the army to intervine.

These thugs are worst than bad, they are pure evil !

So you think the guy in Dubai and his people, Jatuporn, Chalerm and others are good guys?

Would you like the rice scheme payments to continue? How much did it cost the taxpayers so far?

Who is responsible for millions of tons of rice rotting away in the warehouses?

Why isn't Thailand the world's number one rice exporter anymore?

Same with the 2.2 trillion loan, do you want the go ahead for it?

Who ordered the torching of BKK buildings and initial shooting in 2010?

How could the then PM sell a 1.8 BILLION usd company without paying taxes over it?

What about the land deal for his wife?

Do you think there was a government2government ricedeal with China?

Then where did that rice go?

And where is the payment for the Chinese? Why is it so difficult to find out what happened with that rice as it was government controlled?

How can that same government issue a diplomatic passport to a convicted criminal on the run?

Are the courts and judges all thugs too? Or only the ones that do as the (caretaker) government pleases?

What groups opposed the amnesty bill? The democrats only?

Again: The highlighted part in your comment says more about you than about the millions of people you call thugs.

I am very interest to see if and how you reply.

So far I read many comments saying there must be reconciliation eventually.

Do you agree with that? And if so, how to get into a dialogue with those you call thugs? By calling them thugs? That are pure evil?

Please do try to answer some questions. It will help to see how a hardcore hater can be pulled into that dialogue as well. Of course not particularly you, as we both are not Thai. But I meant the Thai people that think as you do on this.

For some reason I do not think there will be very many Thais calling millions of other Thais the same as you do. Yet all should participate in that dialogue. Then things at last will have some positive result at some point.

Or do you see another way? You keep the word clever in your nickname. It does raise some expectations.

What? Beside ThaiVisa, they are so many pictures and videos circulating showing burning buildings, snipers, shooting incidents and people killed and wounded etc. I have seen pictures and videos of people entering burnt building and moving about and left the building that look like people in uniform. No court has ever proved torching buildings, shooting people etc. were the job of the RedShirt. They are still many Redshirt in prisons without trial accused of arson. The court has to rule according to evidence. Even I don't take what Suthep said that the redshirt ran to the bullets literally. What I know is that shots were fired at unarmed people. Who did that? I don't know.

" Mr. Sarayuth clarified that he was returning to work after watching a football match. He also claimed that he spat because he was feeling thirsty and did not intend to cause any offence. "

Only Khaosod could fashion an article where an official was " briefly detained " and " chastised ", and that he was not being disrespectful, but merely thirsty.

But of course there is another kind of story that Khaosod won't handle. Whenever there are grenade attacks on the protesters in Bangkok, one can be rest assured that Khaosod will instead be booking the next bus to Surat Thani for the next chilling scoop.

You keep ranting about the grenade attacks and trying to link it to the government when the evidence indicates otherwise. After the professional demolition of the railway line outside of Cha Am on the weekend using military grade explosives, one would have expected you would start asking questions of the military. Whether you like it or not all evidence points to people with military training and a relationship to the military. The most recent assaults/physical intimidation speak volumes. Who are these protestors to block anyone from going about their legal duties? The government employee was on his way to work and had a right to work. You want to protest, good for you, but for those who do not wish to protest leave them alone.

Not really. I believe a majority of TVFers are not bothering with this nonsense. The most vociferous of posters all share one common characteristic: "Newbie" status. Seems that some are obsessed with the subject.

Ahh just an update , this is 2014 not 2010. And your condoning this behaviour.... Sick really sick. Start reading and watching the news instead of being shot down like a bird every time you seem to mimic Suthep or his agenda.. I do of course recognise that you hold no bias toward either party or their actions!

Have you checked the latest news on who blocked state owned CCTV cameras? No. What and who is hiding something? Two tabloids have stated the democrats are and admitted they were responsible for doing so... People need to start reading and watching, not reacting.
