January 24, 201412 yr Anyone know of a place that will show the superbowl in the Songkhla province area?. I've never found a hotel in Had Yai that has True sports 3. They are saying the date of the game may change due to the weather so anywhere around there even up to Phattalung is ok. thanks.
January 25, 201412 yr Had Yai?? Why not splurge and fly back to lovely New Jersey to experience the real thing. You could sit next to Chris Christie for warmth ... and it sounds like there'll be freebies. "We are embracing the weather," commissioner Roger Goodell said Monday. "Football is played in the elements." The current forecast for Super Bowl Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J. is for a high of 40 and 30 percent chance of rain or snow. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:25 p.m. ET. If a major storm or severe temperatures impacts the region, the game could be played anywhere from Friday, Jan. 31 to Monday, Feb. 3. But the NFL said that's a worst-case scenario with a low probability based on current weather models. NFL officials are hoping fans embrace the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl in league history. They will receive ear muffs, hat, lip balm, mittens, cup holder, scarf, tissues, a radio to listen to the game, hand warmers, a seat cushion and a waist-wrap, quarterback-style hand pocket. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2014-01-23/sports/chi-super-bowl-xlviii-date-subject-to-change-20140123_1_super-bowl-xlv-roger-goodell-nfl-vice-president

No help, "first-responder", but I'm sure everyone not interested in a real answer is thoroughly entertained by the breadth of your extraneous info. Me? like the OP, I'm looking for an answer 150 km to the north of the poster. So far in my search, VPN seems to be the only answer. I'll be willing to wade thru silly VPN posts to find real info here, too.
January 30, 201412 yr Author No luck so far. I'll go back tomorrow and look again. Downtown HaadYai is deserted. Probably gone to watch the superbowl somewhere else.
