January 25, 201412 yr How much of the donated money actually ends up where it's supposed to end up? Even the big charities, most of the money goes on administration and a fraction actually hits the people.

That is how we operate at GOMS. Normally we never give money, just buy needed goods. Recently we did pay cash but direct to teachers for their salary (note it is a private organization funded soley by donations).
