I am a bit worried about paying taxes... I just found out my school did not deduct taxes (as I thought they did) for the last two years.

Will I have to catch up everything at once and how do I go about paying it all??

My salary is 40,000 a month. Does anyone know how much I will actually get after I paid taxes?

40k times 12 months is 480k

you might have to use both columns from the table below

For example, on your 480k this year:

the first 150k is exempt

from 150k to 480k you will be paying 5% (about 16,500 baht owed)

There are some other exemptions though, like a 60,000 baht one that everyone gets for (idk)? So, it would be about 13,500. If you put 15% of your salary into an LTF you'd pay no tax on that.

Anyway, that is about how much your taxes should be assuming you have a work permit.
