They are cars from Uruguay. I've only visited once way back but it is a very special place. I was also thinking Austin. The first one is a Studebaker.

Pick up looks like an Austin

Austin A60 pick up conversion?

It looks fiddled about with but Austin made both pickup and panel van.

Agree.

My first car was an Austin A40 Devon 1949 pick up. I bought it from my uncle in 1970 and was as proud as punch.

I would have gone with A55 but that might be the same as A60.

Yep, A55 and first model A60 looked very similar, so could easily be an A55

If You enjoy Road Test, where they don't ramble on about Cup Holders for an hour watch Chris Harris on Cars. he's on You Tube, new name to me and he doesn't do Top Gear Twaddle. Nice to hear your verdicts on his show .Film Quality is excellent as well.

Goddesse or Idea - Good demo of the hydro-pneumatic suspension...........I had a blowout in one once and if it wasn't for the bang, I probably wouldn't have noticed until I pulled off the motorway.

It turns up in all sorts of films and TV series; i remember watching some telly quite recently when the "hero" had one of these ...but can't for life of me remember what it was......it was it the animation movie "cars"

Really looks wierd to me but when you think of the way it's customised, clever stuff.

When I was a kid my favorite American car was a Gallaxy.
