TBahink about this. In modern times and probably throughout human history outsiders probably stayed clear If they were a 3rd party to a conflict unless they had benefits from supporting one side. Let's take the conflict in the African country of the Congo. Do you see any westerners supporting one side? Not likely at all. Arms dealers would be selling arms to both sides fighting each other.

Back to the issue of Thailand why would some farang be so supportive one side? Suffice to say it does affect them. The royalists of Thailand want an underclass to remain in Thailand so that they can Lord it over them. Similarly these pro yellow farang support the yellows so that Thailand will remain affordable to them so that they can pay what some small amount of 100 baht to cleaners and less than 100 baht to taxi drivers and of course the girls. They need girls that were brought up in poverty that they can easily have sex with for a small monetary sum that is chump change in their country. Think about this why do some farang move to even poorer neighboring countries out of Thailand? Simple reason because there is more bang for the buck. It is as simple as this. Keep a huge segment of the population poor so that they can be exploited and the foreigners want to do this and the worst thing of all is that farang pretend that they are really noble like take the USA which always promotes the idea it wants to help other countries when in reality they do everything to only further their own interests.

Some have Thai-Isaan bargirls with no degrees - they are pro-red.

The majority of anti government posters on this board have no affiliation to Sonthi nor the Yellow shirts, they simply want the Shinawatra dynasty out and see Sonthi as a vehicle to this journey and not as the end result.

This also seems to be the case with a majority of the anti government protestors, who see no other way of getting rid of the Shinawatra crooks.

Once Thaksin and his stooges have been ousted I have no doubt that Sonthi will be dropped in an instant, as he will have served his purpose.

A lot of long term posters on this board have Thai families and will support the side that they deem best serves the Thai people, this has absolutely nothing to do with cheap pussy or keeping the local population poor.

I do not agree with the Thaksin supporters on this board but I do accept that there are 2 sides to every coin and I do respect that they have their own views.
