Popular Post anon467367354
well so much for democracy. You can be a part of our country, you cam make us money, but know where you stand... you are not one of us! All men are not created equal, no inalienable rights here. Clueless and disgraceful. Way to go PTP, your sort of only for Thai people after their money of course. (pun intended)

Popular Post Prbkk
....very, very silly to do this. They were doing well , all things considered, in the international arena and now a childish, petulant, vindictive response. Popular Post colspeed
???? If you go to a foreign country, you are a guest of the government. Protest against that government and you are a problem that needs sorting. Before the EU it was the same there. If you lived in China or North Korea, would you join a protest march? I really don't understand your problem. There are many countries in the world, including your own.

samran
Best I can discern, the source of this 'news' is an unsourced tweet with no links from someone with the New York Times. I'm not in any way a Yingluck fan, but something doesn't strike me as correct about the story.

Popular Post dude123
A foreigner in Thailand does not enjoy the same rights as a Thai that are provided by the Thai Constitution? Probably not? I have been married to my Thai Wife for 14 years, but as I understand it, if we move to Thailand, I will be treated like a foreigner as far as immigration is concerned, as far as buying a house is concerned and who knows what else. This has been holding me back from her wish for me to move with her to Thailand. Sort of like walking unvited into someone's house. Popular Post onewhowalkswithbuffalo
Let that be a lesson to some of you on here who seem to be taking this situation far too personally. This is not our country and this is not our problem, merely spectate. There is no need to have an opinion because it will never actually matter because you can't vote and will always be seen as an outsider. Just sabai sabai, go to the f'ing islands and have some fun be a man/ women of leisure, there is no need to be wasting time on politics in life, isn't that exactly the reason why a lot of us came here ? because we hate our governments ???
