New place that specializes in Northern Thai food.

Their khao soi is as authentic as it comes , the best in Pattaya IMO.

Some other northern specialties worth noting are their 'hang lay' beef loaded with garlic and ginger.

Worth trying , they seem to open early afternoon and the food is always fresh and the place is kept spotlessly clean.

Went there tonight found it easily about 300mts down past Buffalo bar on the same side.

The restaurant is a recent opening and called Supnays northern lanna cuisine

Open from 11.30 am to 11.00pm

First thing I noticed was the waiter/owner spoke perfect english.

Ordered the large Khao soy chicken at 70b (also came as smaller size at 55b and in beef as well)

was as good as I've had in Pattaya and very good value as was a large bowl with 5 chicken legs.

Girlfriend had the pork kaeng hangle with rice which she said was good at 60b.

Other menu items were a beef version of the pork dish.Khanom jin nam ngigo 45b and Nam phrik aong 80b.They also had beef or pork meatballs grilled on skewers dipped in curry paste and coconut milk 15b per skewer.Soft drinks were 20b,large beers from 70 to 100b plus a range of smoothies from 40 to 50b.

I will be back to try the other dishes soon.The owner is nepalese with a good few years in the uk from his accent.His wife is from Lampang so choosing this style of cuisine is no real suprise.

I'm sure some of my spellings of the english versions of thai dishes are incorrect sorry you will need to try for yourselves!
