Have'nt seen it yet but a guy i know here has just bought an SLK55 AMG. I saw a SLK 350 (red plate) on the street (Sukhamvit) yesterday. And there are lots of 500S cars in BKK. (But, remember, a lot of cars are rebadged upward.)

corkscrew
Corkscrews still reminding us that he's got an S class (the slow one ) I apologize....I know that is a bit silly of me to keep posting these things. I just fell in love with this car....it was my first new one since 1992...so I was just so proud of it. In the past I only bought a new car about ever 10 years. And I was so surprised at the new features that these new MBs had. I just wanted to show them. I am sorry if I came across as being a show-off...I did not mean it. Plus
I read in today's Nation that Benz sold only 50 cars since October launch of the new S class.

CS, If I was willing to put the money into a car like yours, i guess I would be proud of it, BUT your constant reminders of what mechanical devices you own, does get a bit boring and makes you seem a bit well, obsessed with publisising your ownership. It seems a bit superficial and I am sure in real life you are not like that.

Dakhar
I saw a real car in BKK last week. A new BMW M5.... and no it was not a "badge job." But one must ask, what does one do with 500hP in BKK?
thaigerd
Surely you can afford better than one can of Chang! may be more suitable for such kind of car:
VTR1000
But one must ask, what does one do with 500hP in BKK? Spend a lot of time at the petrol pumps! I know - had a V12 BMW750iL a while ago. Nice to drive (pose?) in but way expensive in fuel. Edited May 27, 2006 by VTR1000
Dakhar
Had the 3.0 E36 M3 myself..... very efficient car considering the speeds that car could produce. Awe, the memories!
