How to file income tax

Are we able to file income tax online or need to fill out paper forms?

Also, is it easy to do it by yourself or better to pay company to do it for you?

If you can get hold of a copy of turbo tax, you can do it on line. Not sure of any other way. Check irs.gov if you are taking US taxes.

I have been using Turbo Tax for last ten years to prepare and file my U.S.income tax. Highly recommend,cost is reasonable.

TaxAct is a great online filing system for USA income tax. It will also do State tax. Very reasonable.

Yes, you can do it with on-line or download software, and able to file it with IRS on-line as well (E-File).

There are a number of software companies you can look at, or have a look at the IRS website for Free File options that may or may not suit your situation.

Yes. At least with Turbo Tax. Never used any others.
