Has any member managed to test drive a new Mazda BT50 3.2 Auto or a Ford Ranger 3.2 Wildtrak prior to making a purchase ?

I"ve now been to 4 dealers in and around Pattaya and 2 dealers in and around Khorat. None of them had a demo model.

Did members who have purchased such a pick-up buy without a test drive ?

If you managed to have a test drive which dealer did you go to ?

I picked up my Mazda BT50 3.2 last April. I had a test drive in a 2.2 which felt as powerful as my D-Max 3.0 VGS. I concluded the 3.2 would feel even better and thankfully I was right. Mazda don't seem to have sufficient stock of the 3.2 to offer test drives and Ford simply don't have the 3.2.

Save an unlikely headache and go for the Mazda. I test drove both a while back and while I prefer styling of the Ford inside and out, they felt pretty similar on the road. Ford, I'm afraid is hit and miss as far as service and reputation goes. Buy the 3.2, it is much better than the 2.2.
