Hey Chalerm, why don't you come by Asoke, say about 6 am. Not too many people here at that hour.

And Chalerm, I too am very disappointed that you broke your promise to behead yourself if you failed to bring Thaksin back by the end of last year.

Chalerm vows

Chalerm threatens

everyone else yawns.

I'll donate a bottle of whiskey to the first Thaivisa member to post an original video of Chalerm pouncing on protesters.

It'll be a cheap bottle, of course.

He might be tempted himself ,A bottle of ear medicine would be a great incentive to him

regards Worgeordie

Suthep vows to shut PM out of Govt House, taunts Chalerm Chalerm threatens to crack down on protesters

That about says it all.

Yes. Suthep actually did keep Yingluck from Government House today. And Chalerm did what?

He probably cracked open a bottle or two, and spouted BS, to anyone that would listen. So nothing out of the ordinary in the day of a life of The Headless Minister of Labour.

I have a friend who works at the ministrty near the gov house. He told me that the protesters came there enroute to the gov house. He said they politely told the guards that all workers should leave. Then the guards went inside each building and asked everyone to leave due to protesters outside. The workers knew already they were protesters and its said it sounded like a sports day. No protesters went inside the buildings.

If Chalerm had any intention to do his job then he had ample time to make a wall of police to stop this scary :D force from getting anywhere near the gov house.

Chalerm is a putz. Making a show and acting on things after its too late.

These protesterd sound like they were having a party and knew no trouble would become them .

Im reminded of Tom and Jerry cartoons. Tom (Chalerm) was the tough cat that always had trouble catching Jerry (Suthep) the mouse. Jerry taunted Tom always and always outwitted Tom.

There were times when Tom and Jerry would work together but only when both were threatened and as soon as the threat was gone they would break their alliance and the chase would be on again.

On the BBC World News at 0800 Jonathan Head said the government's efforts so far were " more show than reality " then he tried to spice things up by saying

' hardliner ' Chalerm had been brought in, discreetly ignoring the fact that Chalerm has been CMPO Director since the off.

He did then balance it out by saying Chalerm talks tough but the govt insists it does not want to to use force.

Now for Act II, Overture and Beginners please and another bottle, or two, of Chateau Lao Khao '23 for K. Chalerm

Jonathan (D...Head) is a disgrace to any objective journalism, why read his BS anyway?

Eehh, on the television news i was watching and listening and the remote was out of reach.

Chalerm cannot do anything against the protesters as a few tanks move from Chiang Wattana to government house. The army will protect the protesters if police attack them. Yet another blooper by the guy. He's an embarrassement.

"The army will protect the protesters if police attack them"

Thus bringing about a civil war in Thailand, hope that makes you happy!!!!

Happened before.

Police - Army

The people stood aside and applauded.......the army

I heard Chalerm will stop all crimes in Thailand within 3 months, same with southern insurgents.

And start a Pentagon 2, and in 30 days get rid of narcotics.

And further more have some ladies serving wine at lunch time, at all PDRC occupied sections.

There has been hardly anyone at the protest sites during the day for weeks (excluding t-shirt sellers). The few protesters left are off playing at Government House today so why not send a few thousand police to dismantle the protest sites now, in and out in a few hours..

Because his still to drunk for anyone to comprehend what is spewing from his mouth is why... So much to say on both fronts, ahh dammit, Dad just arrived with some VB's from Oz for the birth of my little boy, sorry everyone the temptation is to much... And the latter off topic eeks...

Chalerm would be wise to do nothing for now as he knows the army hates him and the rubbish he speaks in front of the media & government officials.

The minute the police start to cause problems within the protest ranks the army will surely step in.

Suthep is sitting in a pretty good position at present although he needs more support from the government office workers who of course want to support Suthep as the want Yingluck out , however they are frightened as there may be recoarse for there actions. If he can manage to stop the office workers going to work then that would be a huge push toward the Yingluck government failure and it would have to surrender.

Chalerm says he's upset because Suthep didn't keep his promise ... well what about the promises the Yingluck government made to the people and never kept any of them .. the rice payment for one.

All Yingluck tried to do is get her criminal brother to be allowed back in thailand.

A criminal as convicted and hasn't served a day in jail for his actions.

I think the people have a right to be angry. IMHO.

Yawn . . . sorry to pick on you, it could have been on any of the many posts on this and similar stories, but this is now becoming too boring for words. Whatever the eventual outcome of this farce, it is unlikely that it will have any impact on any of our lives in the land of smiles.

Eric ... a Vietnamese visitor told me that Vietnam is fighting for democracy and Bangkok Thais want to throw it away. Are you telling us the voting by tank is correct? Shame on you.

I've had a frontal lobotomy with a bottle in front of me

actually it was Dorothy Parker who said that, not WCFields, In the original quote.
