My annual extension based on marriage to Thai, ends next month. Is there a short term extension process available in this situation?

Would like to avoid doing the full 1 year extension & re-entry permit process as we plan to go on holiday to the US about 60 days after my current extension expires.

Second is I would like to get a new Non-O in my new passport while on holiday, instead of always having the original Non-O in my previous, now expired passport.

Thanks.

Unless you plan on staying out of the country longer than your extension you can get a re-entry permit after you get your extension stamp and make your trip.

Your non-o information and most recent extension stamp should of already been transferred to your new passport. You don't need your old passport if that has been done. If you have not done it you should go to immigration and have it done.

It is possible to get a 60 day extension to visit your wife.

Yes, Imm made a lot of entries in my new passport like you said. Was under the impression I always had to keep my old passport for reference since it contained the actual Non-O Visa, from which all future extensions are based.

Thanks for the 60 day confirmation. I thought it only applied at the end of an actual visa, like a 90 day Non-O, not for an extension of that.

There is a big stamp where they transcribed all the info for your non-o that will used for for future extensions. You can retire your old passport.

You can get the 60 day extension at the end of a one year extension.
