February 28, 201412 yr Looking for sign language tuition but the teacher needs to be proficient in English, anyone? Thanks in advance.
February 28, 201412 yr Although you want instruction in English, you don't say what language you want to sign in; there are over 200 sign languages in the world. Your best bet for local information would be to contact the School for the Deaf in the Santitahm area. This link shows a street view of the school: http://goo.gl/maps/57wfn

November 7, 201411 yr Hello, Just happen to spot your topic about Sign Language (SL) by luck. I am born deaf & my native language is Sign Language. I am used to teach British Sign Language over 8 years in UK. It was quite fun & challenge. Now I am currently expat in Phuket and using "mixed" sign language to communicate my hearing daughters. I also use Thai (TSL) / America SL. (ASL) with deaf Thai signers. I am interested to know how you are getting on the SL tuition. I can't say the tuition at deaf Thai school will be good idea depending your experience & knowledge of Deaf people. Maybe it will be easier that I shall ask you some questions in order to support your decision. Have you found the deaf tutor? If so, may I have the feedback/rating about your progress? Which national sign language are you interested in? Or international sign language? Is this for your interest or for your family? What makes you interesting in sign language? (for instance, family reason? tourism? volunteering?) How much skills do you have in SL? ( Novice? Beginners? Advanced?) Any questions about SL will be most welcome.
