Looking to buy land north of Thailand

Featured Replies

Looking to buy 10-20 Rai of land anywhere in the north of the country, preferably away from villages, communities and temples,, away from main roads, no particular soil quality, availability of water, electricity

and access no major issue, willing to pay anywhere from 50,000-80,000 baht per Rai.

Please provide all details possible of said land.. thank you...

Dream on!!! add a nought or 2 and you may have a chance!

Plenty of land around for that sort of money. Just have to come up and have a look. Chiang Rai outside of the city. But No paperwork. ...

OP: What you are looking for is basically "worthless-land". No papers, no nothing! Why would you want to pay 50 to 80'000 Bht per Rai for it ????

If you must:: Visit a Hill Tribe Chief and bring along: 1 used TV. 1 used motorbike (value not exceeding 5000 Bht) and 1 case of cheap booze. He will gladly sell you 20 Rai for that. Later on, you may find out that it is "military-land".

Having outed yourself already as a "greenhorn", be prepared that some Farang Real-Estate-Experts will offer you the "deal of a lifetime". bah.gif

Cheers.
