Extra hot sauces from US

Featured Replies

Looking to find some of the extra hot sauces they have in US, like"Dave's Insanity Sauce" Or "Blairs After death. Anyone seen these anywhere in Thailand. Don't want to have to pay import fee from US.

Thanks and I'll keep this link, but looking for some made with the ghoast peppers, I believe called Bhut Jokolba. They are 800 times hotter than a japaleno!

Never seen the really hot stuff for sale in Thailand anywhere. That's why bring some along when arriving from Europe. Will be arriving in Isaan within two weeks with some fresh crushed Bhut Jolokia -jars :D

Makes the locals really "happy"

Also, this time will have some Fatalii's Jigsaw seeds, let's see how they germinate and grow in Thailand...

PS, have you ever ordered from these folks? If so, how did it go?

From the looks of their website, they seem to be more aimed at institutional customers as opposed to consumer end users.

I've used "Thai-basco" pepper sauce. It's available up here in Chiangrai. That's it's real name. They have regular and "Habanero". Maybe not as hot as what you are talking about, but good.

How/where did you find and buy it?

......and if anybody sees Scotch Bonnet sauces anywhere (better still "Walkerswood" brand)......miss that toooooo much!

I just bought some of the Scotch Bonnet blend hot sauce from the UK here in Pattaya.14.jpg

Now where did I buy it?

Hmmm.

I think I've seen it two places. Perhaps Central Pattaya Beach and Tops Pattaya Klang?

Will have to check.

It is good and hot sauce. Not really as hot (but still quite hot) as the bottle indicates but happily not ruined by sugar. It most definitely had that distinctive CARIBBEAN flavor. It wasn't even expensive. Something like 70 baht a bottle. So I am well pleased.

Hello All, you could also buy a small bottle of just the heat source and add it to a sauce that

you can blend up to your own taste. They use to sell a small bottle with an dropper in the cap,

1 drop would make 1Qt. of water, med. hot.

The pic if from Jan 2014 at the Ag Show here in Korat, the Naga plants were Bt.35 each or

3 for Bt.100.

Some of my naga's from 08.

So what are you charging a bottle? I'd like to get a couple and have them shipped to me. I live in the Rangsit are outside Bangkok.

Hello All, if you hi-light Carolina Reaper with your left mouse button and use your

right mouse button to search Google, it will get you to his site.

Or go to Co. behind him in the pic, usually just ".com" behind a name gets you

to their site.

Site is from South Carolina, still to much if you add shipping to Thailand. Was hopng some here in Thailand had a source. Looks like I need to go back to the Hot sauce store, they have a the hottest pepper sauces and extracts from my brand name companies, but thanks anyway for the info. Someone is missing the boat on bring these sauces into Thailand. My last order from the US was for Daves Devil"s Spit BBQ sauce, bought 2 cases and postage was brutal, but lasted almost 2 years. Waiting now for pepperonei sticks to come in, I get them 6 at a time, so they last awhile, but it is a favorite munchie snack!

Yeah, to confirm the Encona products are sold at Central Pattaya Beach so probably also at Tops at Pattaya Klang.

Bought a second flavor, the Piri Piri, and also liked that quite a lot.

Folks, support this company, it's a new line in Thailand, good hot tasty stuff, and if we don't buy it, it's going away. You can be sure it's not for the Thai market.

Selling imported hot stuff in Thailand may seem like selling ice to eskimos though.

Hello All, BW I haven't had any Dave's Insanity Private Reserve since 1992, pre naga-scorpion and now

reaper as #1 for heat.

I've just planted more Congo Trinidad, a member of the hab family, on the milder end of things(200K SVU),

a long way fromreape's 1,400,000 SVU, but still enjoyable. Make up sauce/dip fresh when needed.

CT's are easy to grow and less problems than other scotch bonnets or habs.

#1 is Congo Trinidad's.

#2 is ripe CT L/H and Choc Hab R/H.

#3 is $5.50 worth of seed + USPS, but I ordered toms, other chili and tomatillo seed also. About 10 days.

#4 is what happens to all my unused chilies, this the wife's sauce being made. Jals, serranos, pasilla and

a few poblanas.(thats all fresh Mex chilies)

I am envious. I have tried to grow jalapeños and they always die.

Hello All, after reading the Int.Food Forum thread on jerked chicken and a hot sauce

one person liked, it jogged my slow thinking mind loose about a Hab sauce)red & green)

that I used to use in the States. See pic's, I about to have my X send me a CARE package

and started to check who sales it in the Seattle area and ran across a store that sells it

in Singapore. But it doesn't seam that they ship.

But if you are planning a trip down that way, they also have---see pic-- which no one has

been able to find in LOS.

rice555

PS for a good every day sauce, I like their red.
