Selfish drivers are even using bus stops to park, a double whammy as now the busses are unable to use them.

PATTAYA:--Another spot-check on the much-touted “crackdown” on illegal Beach Road parking again showed that, so far at least, the new bus-stop system is a failure.

This article covers Thais parking where they should not.

Baht buses Tour buses / coaches Mini-buses Taxis

All have total disregard for parking regulations. Why would they respect the regulations ? Easier and more profitable not to. No fines no clamping no nothing. And when the occasional fine is issued, 200 baht fine has no meaning whatsoever. No reason to abide by the law.

At the floating market coaches double park and triple park. Why not ?

Baht buses stop and load / unload passengers anywhere with disregard for all other traffic. Why not ?

Biggest joke of all, Yellow/blue taxis with TAXIMETER with no taxi-meter.

And the word I see used is "Crackdown". What does this word in this context mean ?

Apparently there is not a Thai word for crackdown, so it is just disregarded , same as rules, law, justice, transparency, haha
