Hi,

I am here in bkk and my visa exempt stamp will expire on Fri, March 28th. I wanna stay here 2-3 more months and have been looking into doing a vise-run to Vientiane for a double or single entry visa (and then hopefully get a 30 day extentsion on that). However, I would really love to avoid the hassle of a 3-day-trip to Laos. When I was here last year, I found a visa service company that helped me extend my stay with 3 months after my double-entry visa had expired. They took care of everything. Picked up passport at my hotel and returned it with a valid 3 months stamp (2 days later i belive). I have been searching but I can't seem to find that company or any alike. Does anyone know of any companies providing such services?

OP, as an aside before the experts read your post, sometimes it is worth the 'hassle of a 3-day-trip to Laos' in the long run................wink.png Do it right and be sure of what you have.

IMHO, too many 'variables' can be involved using these companies

There is no 3 month extension possible for a visa exempt entry other than perhaps medical care. There have been reports of this type of bogus medical extension being done.

The best way to avoid such hassle would have been to get a tourist visa before flying to Thailand, and it would have been cheaper, too.
