March 25, 201412 yr Any doctor TV members, can you answer this question, please. Example, my understanding is the one can get tinea from showering in unhygienic shower cubicles, but can one also get soebhoric dermatitis the same way? Also, can both of these conditions move to other parts of the body? If yes, can they be visible in different forms? Not interested in layman opinions or maybes. Not interested in treatment ideas, thanks. Some answers to these questions needed in regard to a medical claim. Thanks for any Information. Edited March 25, 201412 yr by scorecard
March 25, 201412 yr They are entirely different conditions. Tinea is a fungal infection, i.e. an infectious condition. Seborrheic dermatitis is a non-infectious type of inflammation of the skin.
