March 28, 201411 yr PM: No break from politics any time soonBANGKOK, 29 March 2014 (NNT) - Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra insisted that she has not considered taking a break from politics in the near future. Her statement came after reports suggesting that the Pheu Thai Party will not nominate Ms. Yingluck as a candidate during the next election. The premier addressed the media on Friday, saying that she will finalize plans for the future after the conclusion of her rice pledging scheme fraud case in court. She stated that whatever the outcome, she wishes that the next election be held soon and that all sides can set aside their differences and join hands to move the country forward. The Prime Minister also commented on the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC)’s refusal to extend the deadline for her defense, saying that she is not given enough time to prepare her rebuttal and is at a disadvantage. The NACC has extended the deadline by 15 days, not 45 days as requested by her legal team.-- NNT 2014-03-29
March 28, 201411 yr Popular Post Why would she bother thinking to take a break from politics now when she knows that soon she will be banned at the very least, possibly imprisoned, or at the most, living the rest of her life in Dubai with her brother. March 28, 201411 yr Popular Post The premier addressed the media on Friday, saying that she will finalize plans for the future after the conclusion of her rice pledging scheme fraud case in court. They that sow the wind shall reap the whirlwind: A warning that we must expect to suffer serious consequences as the result of our own bad actions. We get back what we give out.
March 28, 201411 yr Popular Post Apart from any legal aspects to leave or take a break from politics would require YL to grow a massive pair and say ' No ' to her brother. As if that would happen.
March 28, 201411 yr Popular Post can we play with clayons next these toys are no fun, do they have games I can play in Dubai - maybe I can play hide and seek with my brother
March 29, 201411 yr Popular Post No time for rest, there is much for this lady, the face of democracy in Thailand to do: 1, Defeat the flailing coup attempt 2, win a crushing victory in the ensuing election 3, Round up and lock up the street thugs who caused this mess 4, Round up and lock up the behind the scenes string pullers and financiers who masterminded this mess 5, Clean out the corrupted public officials who have destroyed the independence of the courts, the military and the NGO's - lock them up too 6, Preside over a new referendum to fix the damage done to the 1997 constitution 7, And finally, return to doing the peoples work by implementing PTP policy that has and will continue to improve the lives of everyday Thais You go get'em girl!
March 29, 201411 yr Popular Post Her whole tenure as PM has been "a break from Politics" . . .I don't think I've ever seen a worse PM from any country. Totally unsuitable, totally incapable. Yet, I do have a certain sympathy for her that in this day and age she's still being treated no differently by her family, peers, colleagues etc in PT than if it was 400 years ago. Misogyny, superiority, nepotism, elitism all are alive and well on both sides of this, nothing much has changed.
March 29, 201411 yr Popular Post What is so disheartening is how evil Yingluck is. She is just a human being like you and I, yet, she is causing misery for millions of people and destroying Thailand. She claims she is protecting democracy, but her lies and corruption say otherwise. How she can look herself in the mirror and live with her lies is incredible. How she can go to temple and pray that she is a good person is so hypocritical. She should be ashamed of herself. Instead of sincerely doing good, she is demonstrating that when human being have power, that they become greedy, self serving liars. She is just like Putin and deserves all the punishment and disgrace coming to her.

March 29, 201411 yr Popular Post Yes, she should continue as she has been doing. So many people fell for the spin of Suthep and his crony backers , believing that there would be an end to this on one Monday ( the final solution) back in November. Almost unbelievable. She has battled those who would take Thailand back into the dark ages and has done so with greAt dexterity. I hope she continues to fend off these self-serving bullies
March 29, 201411 yr "Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra insisted that she has not considered taking a break from politics in the near future" Of course not.....And why should she even consider it?.......Just because the PAD-Dem's want her gone so they can improve their electoral chances? The coup-mongers try to spin the story that they have had an effect, and the PTP will have a reduced majority.....Wishful thinking to the extreme....The electoral base of Ms. Y. and the PTP have strengthened immeasurably in the face of anti-democracy noise and acting-out. Her support has magnified to such an extent, that the DP really want her gone.... But that is all self-serving rhetoric and posturing. The PAD-Dem's would be better served, by re-considering their own leadership. Their penchant for pointing everywhere but themselves as the cause of electoral futility, continues to haunt them.
March 29, 201411 yr No time for rest, there is much for this lady, the face of democracy in Thailand to do: You go get'em girl! Revoke the illegally issued passport to her brother

Sounds like PTP need to arrest themselves!
March 29, 201411 yr Maybe the reason the NACC was quick to lay charges was simply that the evidence presented was conclusive, hence no delays, whereas other political cases may have taken longer to get evidence. Yingluck bemoans the lack of justice shown to her, what about the unpaid rice farmers, at least she & her ministers get their pay checks each month without having to protest!
March 29, 201411 yr Well, there is an alternative career waiting for her as a shaman and healer. Have you noticed how quick she is out of the wheelchair with no signs of an injury that would put her in one in the first place. Remarkable. What luck Yingluck.

Please ignore the amnesty for the 2006 coup - it's too time-specific and irrelevant right now.

March 29, 201411 yr Quite amusing how there have been at least 3 days of 'I won't ake a break, I will run in the next election' stories and not a single mention of the word 'impeach'. Seems the PTP and the media outlets under their thumb are trying very very hard to make everyone forget about her crimes and upcoming court case. Let's hope the right ruling is made and the country will be free of this useless lump of an ex PM as soon as possible. Give me an I Give me an M Give me a P Give me an E Give me an A Give me a C Give me an H = IMPEACH !! as soon as possible please for the good of the country and its people who would rather their tax money benefits the whole country rather than a few corrupt politicians and their families and cronies..

She already has - How about doing the honourable thing having presided over a massive amount of lying and cheating, ignoring the horrendous amount of corruption, and overseeing all the deaths and injuries "coup-mongers" - don't you ever stop polluting the threads with your nonsensical BS? Losing half the voters represents an increase in the voting base? Not in my maths class. "But that is all self-serving rhetoric and posturing" - that's about the limit of your posts. Tell me - who represents that PAD part of your "PAD-Dems" nonsense that you pollute every thread with?

Ohh and dont forget she will need to absolve the independent agencies so noone can make sure their would be cases or investigations against them. Lastly they should make their own militia group to attack anyone that opposes her or the ptp.. Ohh wait... she already has 2 of thoseSent from my GT-S5310 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
