What is your go to provider for porting Skype?
I am still making calls to the US with my number. They stated all subscriptions will run their time but can't be renewed. I had to delete both Spype and Teams (I think because I had first converted to Teams) and then reinstall Skype to get the keypad back. I just used it this morning. I don't know how long it will work from the phone as they said we could still use the computer app to call but didn't mention the phone app. -

Most people cannot afford to lose massive amounts of money like that. I guess there might be some strategy involved, but ... I'm guessing only a small percentage of people game the system to their advantage. That's why Warren Buffet is so rich. Because he's profiting off the mistakes of millions of people who don't know what they're doing. -

What is your go to provider for porting Skype?
I used Skype for calls to family members, banks and government departments in the US and had both an annual calling subscription and a Skype-in number. The annual cost was $70. I have replaced it with Phone2 by paying a one-time fee of $99. For that fee I can call numbers in the US without additional charge and I also received a new US number for incoming calls. I could have ported my Skype-in number, but did not see the need. So far, the Phone2 call quality has been very good. I don't use it for 2FA, so can't comment on whether it would work with banks. For a while I was receiving several telemarketing calls every night on the new US number, usually between 9 pm and 5 am. Most of the calls were companies trying to sell Medicare Advantage plans or similar. Once I registered the number with the Federal do-not-call list, the calls stopped completely. I don't know why I never received such calls on my Skype-in number. One service that Phone2 does not provide for personal accounts is outgoing SMS messaging, but I have no need for that at present. -

Immigration Thailand Digital Arrival Card. TDAC
I am in the same situation. I travel by road to hospital in Khon Kaen on Sunday 4th May via the O'Smach - Sisaket land crossing. I shall plead ignorance and if I am refused then I will discuss the need for urgent medical treatment. I only have an old 3G mobile. This crossing is usually quiet with mainly local Cambodian and Thai travelers. Maybe they still have a collection of old TM6 forms available. Recently, I travelled to the same hospital but travelling with Air Asia from Siem Reap to/from Khon Kaen. Thai Immigration in Bangkok (DMK) were brilliant. Being in a wheelchair, I was kept clear of all the channels with passengers queueing and was taken to the DIPLOMAT- VIP channel and processed in a couple of minutes. I was the the sole traveler who was then ushered to the right of the Diplomat channel to a hidden lift within the Immigration Admin and rest area and taken to the ground floor. He keeps caving because things don't work out OR it was planned from the beginning. Neither can be proven though, so no need to be so sure of yourself. It's just as likely that he planned several steps ahead. And there's no proof that he did or didn't.
