Kids & Computers........ahhhh!

Hi All,

Something called www.555.in.th has managed to become the default page on one of my computers in both Chrome and IE. I managed to uninstall a number of unwanted crap accidentally downloaded by my children this morning inc BAIDU which was reluctant to be uninstalled, but I cannot work out how to return Chrome or IE back to their normal pages (all normal tricks have failed). Can anyone please advise? I cant read the 555 page but I don't want it & don't like the look of it.

Thank you:)

That will teach you to put a password on your computers, and don't give it to the kids.

I sympathise with you, same thing happened to me.

Learned my lesson.

Open your Uninstall Program and look for some names similar to what you have noticed (Baidu etc.) Uninstall and make sure you restart the computer after each uninstall. Also make sure all browser add-in toolbars which could be causing the problem are uninstalled.

Make sure there are no programs in the Start Menu > Startup folder which you don't want starting with Windows.

That worked for me.

Never heard of it but Hitman pro should sort it.

Its free for 1 month after which you can still scan for infections but not fix them until you purchase.
