"the only people who support this criminal regime the PTP, on this forum, are either lacking in morals and/or brains or are low-life trolls." bah.gif

That leaves a lot of room for constructive dialogue and perhaps some commonly agreed "reforms" -- NOT. So you get to determine that you yourself are good and that any among us who happen to disagree with your view of things are rotten to the core, evil incarnate. I recall reading of that kind of thing in the History books, and seeing something of it on tv, in the movies and whatnot.

I'd dare to say most of the PTP detesting farang here are refugees from the various conservative or right wing parties of their respective countries. You know, in the UK the Torries or even further right, in Canada the New Conservatives, in the USA the Republican Party and the tea party blimps, in Australia the Liberal Party, the Conservative Party. I say this because it could seem all I ever hear from you people is the same old right wing crap. Or worse.

My personal stance is not one of support for the PTP - rather, it is one of opposition to the forces that are attempting to overthrow any semblance of democracy in Thailand due to their loathing of the PTP.

As for the politics of the "Thaksin-loathing / PTP-loving" (let´s humor the general thrust of the discussion on here) farang on TV, a poll would be interesting. Put me down as a conservative Red.

A poll of TVF members by TV would be informative, interesting, news worthy, revealing, so I'd like to see one regardless of the tally result. It would of course be a general referendum style of poll, unscientific but nonetheless of some validity.

TVF used to do such polling of its members but hasn't done any polls for a long time, so I may have missed a change of policy at some point along the line, or may have missed some polls that may have occurred..

Of course if TV did such a poll, the outcome may end up branding TV as pro-red or pro-yellow or some such, which might be an additional discouraging factor to TV. There also would be the wording of the question or the matter of more than one question to any such poll.

So I'd encourage TV to proceed in the matter but I also think it would be problematical.
