Another one pregnant !

Recommended Posts

I can see numerous advantages today in Thailand to having the grandparents raise the children. Older, calmer people not involved so much in work and politics and education. Give the kids a feeling of security. And that is at least as important as the theory of relativity maybe more so.

What is wrong with the West? Everyone on anti depressant pills and both spouses working and the kids roaming the streets and rioting. Did you watch the last UK riots on TV? Those kids needed some supervision in the home even if it was grandpa and grandma.

So those grandparents who did a bad job raising their own children, your own indirect words, are raising their childrens children. You think that is good ?

About the west....irrelevant....as we are talking about thai teenage mothers.

Ya. Grandparents get older and wiser. One of the reason why most countries have age requirements to lead. Wisdom that escapes many in youth comes after time and experience. Also hopefully they learned by their mistakes. People who don't make mistakes don't learn.

hate to put a dampener on this but in the west most grandparents can read and write, count to 20 without taking off their shoes and have gone to school to at least year 9 or 10(16 years of age), they also have running water(hot) and dont have to eat the wildlife to survive. Mate, you want to argue use good facts not smart arse statements, you may like them/approve of them young but then thats why a lot of people come here, to each his own but doesnt mean everyone has to accept the fascination some have with these children, its illegal in the west.

That's OK you didn't put a damper on it. Although you did voice your illiterate Thai bigotry one more time. Lets look at some facts. In 1960 the literacy rate for Thais 35 years old and under was 84%. That would be the grandparents of today. I think if a person can read and write it is logical to conclude they can count to 20 without taking their shoes off.

Here is what happens when sickness meets the internet; there is usually an undercover enforcement officer at the other end>

The good news, is, the internet DOES provide all the evidence and creates the IP trail, and one by one, the very bad people of this world who want to hurt, molest, rape, abuse, to get caught in their own snare.

It is incumbent on the rest of us to pay attention, quietly, and be wacthmen, and if we see something, we need to say something, and let law enforcement take it from there:

In the UK any male age 46 with no family or children, that wasn't openly gay, and had a history of living in Thailand would already have been registered and monitored.

that ad was taken from this very same page, right here, on thai visa

yes it's the dynamic side banner ad from google based on browsing history

on my page it shows an ad for RayBan sunglasses

on yours it shows an ad for dating teenage girls

...probably a bug in google's system, dont worry about it

On mine it shows nothing, because I disabled ads.

Im not convinced this side of Thailand is wrong.

I mean in many ways it make sense to have kids when very young.

Then, here you have the bonus of still being able to go on and live a life, whilst your mum looks after your baby.

Chances are, the mum did the same and it was her mum that looked after her baby.

So..it passes that way down the line.

Young girls are biological mums, but only become mothers in the sense of bringing up a child when their own daughters have babies.

Young girls are happy as they can live their lives, grandmums are happy as they are more mature, settled and ready to look after a child.

So....why not...?

ummm... because it perpetuates a cycle of dirt poverty?

So does borrowing money from the banks.. but hay your the expert on life. (I couldn't find a smiley with a gun blowing his head off)

Frankly, I'd not be surprised if the mods considered some of these posters to be skating on very thin ice.

Anyone who even hints that laws criminalizing the practice of having sex with people under the legal age of consent are somehow oppressive or curtailing freedoms needs to be identified, registered and have their movements monitored.

In the UK any male age 46 with no family or children, that wasn't openly gay, and had a history of living in Thailand would already have been registered and monitored.

Sounds incredible. Are you speaking from experience? From what I gather, you fit all three criteria.

Yes, my gf's brother (he was 30) made a 16 year young pregnant.

He was man number 2 already.

We are now raising their 3 year young baby girl.

She quit him when the baby was 3 months, we sent him to Taiwan for 10 years and took over the baby.

how old are you that you are inheriting and raising children,, and, how is that going?

I just saw a neighbor, he is 53, and he had a 3 year old with him, from his second wife.

his summary if having a 3 year old at 53 was,

he has no time, or freedom,

same same for thailand, or is it different?

it seems the 50 plus year olds are raising the kids in thailand.

cant imagine it here

So, In a few years the 15 yr. old girl can go work in a big city. Factory or perhaps the bar up to her. Now, she sends money home to grandmother to take care of baby. Grandmother doesn't have to go work, only stay home with baby. It's how it is and in a twisted way works out well for everyone.
