Pattaya's got millions of cheap apts. I have been looking around on other visits but, not my favourite activity. One guy showed me half of the Navin (?) building, even rooms I could not rent. But they keep bulding new places, so should be some cheap new apt around maybe. There is suppose to be a 192 room new big budget place close to Big-C, anyone know the name or exact location?

Guderian
Jomtien Long Stay hotel is popular with long term residents who don't want to pay over the odds. I think it's 6000 Baht/month, but the location is great (just behind the Hanuman/Machanu statue on the bend in Thappraya Road) and on the Baht bus route into town. Just a short walk to the beach and all the bars and restaurants that Jomtien has to offer. It's also got a nice rooftop swimming pool.
