robsamui
Last 4 nights I've had the Thai equiv of thump-thump music. Pubescents yelling YIP YIP YIP to teeny karaoke tracks and granddads howling out of tune. It comes and goes with the wind, - tolerable in my house (more so than the bass-line of club music) - but on the soi outside there's nothing. Anyone got nose-to-ground info on this? Where is ground zero for the napalm strike? Sniffy-sniffy? Jimmy? R Edited April 19, 2014 by robsamui

samuijimmy
There is no Temple fair at the Maenam Temple, so not sure what Rob is hearing....(?) There is a new Mosque that just opened on Soi One, Maenam, a week or so ago, 3 kms up.... I can't imagine they would be having evening /night parties... Only a goat was sacrificed for the Opening lunch, as fair as I know... Edited April 26, 2014 by samuijimmy
