PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) – Websites of three companies including one local company have been attacked by Anonymous Cambodia whose two members were arrested recently by the Cambodian Government following a link to cyber attacks on websites of national institution.
The websites brought down by cyber attack included nailsalonfurniture.net, pastebin.com (http://pastebin.com/vxBh0429), and naturesgoodness.com.kh.
“We don’t delete any data or file. We just tell them how weak their website security is,” Anonymous Cambodia posted on Thursday in its Facebook page, referring to website of www.nailsalonfurniture.net.
Website of Cambodia’s police institution (www.police.gov.kh) is also next target of the Anonymous Cambodia, according to its Facebook page which has received over 7,000 likes in just three days after its establishment on April 22.
At least 30 websites of national and private institutions were attacked by Anonymous Cambodia, a group of local computer hackers, before general election in July 2013.
Regarding attack, Cambodian Government under collaboration with FBI have identified and captured two hackers who would face from one to two year imprisonment if found guilty.
