Hi,

Just wondering if anyone out there could give me some general info on EU visa requirements for Thai citizens.

We will be travelling to the UK this year, and would like to break the journey in Amsterdam for afew days. No problem for me and the Children as we all hold UK passports. However my wife only has a 5 year UK visa in her passport.

Anyone know how she can enter an EU member state? will we have to apply for (yet another!) visa?

Thanks in advance guys....

She will need to apply for a Schengen Visa to enter The Netherlands, the details are here visa-application-in-thailand.html

As a wife of an EU National the visa should be free and some of the evidence is not required, have a look at the section in the link "Family members of EU/EEA citizens who exercise their right of free movement".

We went there last year and my partner enjoyed Amsterdam very much.
