Amazing how everyone bitches about Yingluck wanting more witnesses, time, rice checks and call it intimidation. What about Suthep completely defying the court by not turning up because he is busy inciting insurrection?

But, but, but, Suthep!

Really? Is that the best you have? Did you happen to notice that this thread is not about Suthep?

The reason "everyone bitches about Yingluck wanting more witnesses, time, rice checks" is because she is stalling. Besides, the NACC is not a court. The NACC only finds if prosecution is warranted. If the NACC recommends prosecution, Ms Yingluck will be able to call ALL her witnesses in a Criminal court. She probably won't be able to get the time to conduct a full investigation to find all the corruption in the scheme and then prosecute those cases before her own, but she is not being investigated by the NACC for being corrupt; just allowing it under her Chairmanship (watch/responsibility). That investigation would be blocked by her allies and the guilty members of her government anyway.

BTW, did you come up with that line about Suthep inciting insurrection yourself? Any quotes with links you'd like to share to prove that allegation?

The lawyer is quite correct as the NACC, Constitutional Court etc regularly defy PTP law.

I think that the laws in most democratic countries would allow the defendant to call any witness they need. By denying Yinluck the chance to call witnesses to prove her lack of guilt, the NACC are showing themselves to be biased.

In Taksin's trial there were prosicution witnesses called who gave evidence when Taksin's lawyer was not allowed to be present.

The courts in Thailand need reform.

FYI the NACC is NOT a court but a Commission. They investigate and make a recommendation which does go to a court.

Please do some research and present the correct FACTS before you post otherwise you come across as biased and un informed.

In most democratic coutries the PM would have resigned before now but that is NOT the PTP democratic way.

I hope the NACC is going to take into account the complete barrage of threats and intimidation that are coming from PT boot lickers daily and tack those charges on to the rest. Every person involved in PT should be banned from politics for life, no questions, no ifs, ands or buts. BUlly boy tactics have no place in a real properly functioning 'democracy'. T%his is why we need reforms NOW ! PT = Detritus of the worst sort !

Yes, I suppose the Suthep / PDRC team has not intimidated any public citizen, any goverment office, any nation over the past 6 months?

Damn..that Yingluk is so terrible! Its almost comical when you have a person with arrest warrantes walking the streets, stopping traffic, shutting down commerce, costing the nations billions..and shutting down goverments. That Yingluk is sooo bad.

Fab4?

He's certainly ridiculous but to curse him like that?

She is not appearing in a court. She has conducted herself in a most uncooperative and arrogant way so far. Threats, intimidation seem the norm.

Most democratic countries allow witnesses to be called by a defendant, providing that witness has evidence, or can contribute facts to the case. However there are limitations on how many witnesses can be called to keep repeating the same things over and over.

The whole judicial system needs reform, especially those charges with investigating and prosecuting, as well as the judges. The RTP, DSI and AGO certainly need reform.

But nowhere near as hysterically comical as the country being run by and for the benefit of a fugitive on the run in another country ! cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Note -

- Yingluk is not up on any Criminal Charges. lets all be clear of this. This is simply an issue of whether or not she did her job properly. No criminal charges.

- She is charged with failure to take action when told that there MAY be mismanagment of the Rice Scheme.

- She is charged with improper firing of an employee.

- The PDRC folks stands in the streets in honor of a man that is up on Insurrection charges.

- The Dem's Leader is up on Murder Charges.

I suppose you get the point.

the de facto leader of the government is a convicted criminal on the run

I suppose YOU get the point

- The PDRC folks stands in the streets in honor of a man that is up on Insurrection charges.

- The Dem's Leader is up on Murder Charges.

To take them in reverse order, the bogus trumped up murder charges were brought against the right honorable Abhisit and Suteb by the DSI ( run by Tarit who obeys Thaksin's every command with loving care ) purely in an effort to give them something to use against them so that when they tried to ram the bullshit amnesty through, Abhisit and Suteb would agree to the bs amnesty to get off the bs charges as the amnesty would include them. Suprise surprise - they said no ! Thaksin didn't like that

The insurrection charges are because Suteb turned the protests against the bs amnesty bill into a mass movement that is against Thaksin's people hence the CAPO ( run by Thaksin's relative Surapong and crony number 1 Chalerm ) do not like Suteb because he is making their lives difficult.

Are we starting to see a pattern here ?

As ever, the Thaksin side tries to bully, intimidate, use trumped up charges and twist and distort and spin and cajole and threaten - I suppose YOU get the point - then again, maybe you are a brainwashed sheeple who ignores the facts in favour of believing the red propaganda. Up to you. I prefer to go with the facts and the truth personally....

Bkk Post has an article where Transparency International is urging the government to stop intimidating the NACC.

Source please. How is this intimidation? It seems it is the NACC that is intimidating the PM by not allowing the PM to defend herself. Perhaps they have long ago made up their minds on this case.

...would you agree then that it's also comical that the DPM and senior spokesman for the PTP (Prompong) has a twelve-month (non-suspended) custodial sentence, and yet still still walks free and speaks on behalf of the PTP?

Do you also think it's funny that Nattawut, Jatuporn and Arisman still walk free despite having clearly breached their bail conditions on several occasions?

Almost comical ? Well he is going to find it absolutely hysterical when another person with arrest warrants is walking the streets ............................... of Dubai. (and also costing the nations billions..and shutting down governments) clap2.gif

For people thinking that report are BP propaganda you can read the statement on International Transparency webpages. They urged Government and Their supporter to stop intimidating NACC

NACC is recognize as one of world anti-graft agency. IT report is very difficult in Thailand to investigated on important political figure in graft allegation.

IT support work of NACC in this case.....

Mr SURAPONG a comment ?

Wrong. Transparency International urged the pro government supporters NOT the Government to stop intimidating the NACC.

I am not stalking anyone. Just stating the obvious, that you are a troll, and a banned troll at that, and should not even be posting on this forum.

Cannot believe you have the gall to quote forum rules. Talk about people in glass houses !

2,535 posts since October, that's a lot of trolling.

And I bet I am not the only one who thinks (knows) what you are, in fact quite a few long time members have sent me a pm telling me so.

Report me if you like, I have nothing to hide. biggrin.png

Can get a bit confusing when the secretary-general and spokesman of the UDD is a deputy minister in the government.
