Rohingya- Victim of Burma ethnic conflict and relation with Thailand

Rohinya people, who are Muslim, are the victim in the ethnic conflict in Burma. They may want to flee and their destination is Malaysia since it is a Muslim country. However, they are greatly cheated by the broker during the period when they have already paid for the trip to Malaysia. The broker may ask those Rohinya people's relatives in Thailand or Malaysia to pay so that the broker can allow them to reach destination. Otherwise they may be sold as slavery in Thailand. It is believed that some Thai officials are involved in the human trafficking affairs.
