My 15 old Tiger need replacement and it should be a 4 door this time.

1. Overall I like the Ford Wildtrack the most, it just look bigger and more cool, but its expensive and I worry about parts beeing available and expensive.

2. Loving Toyota as the parts are cheap and resale good, so the Vigo seems like the sensible buy I guess.

3. Leaning towards the Triton though with NGV as I love to save on a daily basis and it kind of look cool as well, just dont like that only option is the black/dark interior

4. The Mazda B50 also looks nice, just felt it a bit boring comparred to Wildtrack

5. I am not considering, Izusu and Nissan as they are boring.

6. Chevys choise seems to sqaure and also expensive for the top model.

I am buying 2nd hand 1-2 year old as it seems almost all model loose 20-30% value after 1-2 year, so why not save that amount, Im sure I can find a well maintained truck 1-2 year old. Budget is about 4-500 K cash with the Tiger as return, I guess its worth around 200 K.

Anyone with experince with above models, what should I be aware of? I am not transporting heavy things, just some building materials from time to time, mostly using it as a second car for 30-60 min trips.

how the vigo doesn't make your boring list surprises me.

the triton will be replaced in year or so same with the navara. The Vigo will be another 8 years i imagine ;)

The chevy / isuzu are newish came out same time as the ford/mazda in 2012. Chevy has a new engine this year (i should say new tuning)

looks like you have decided on the wildtrak.

me, if i was buying 2nd hand would look at the mazda - some good deals to be had compared to the in demand wt and the same truck under the skin. i saw an ad on here recently for a guy selling his top of the line 4 door AT 4x4 4door mazda 2013 with 10,000 kms on it for 725,000 baht before negotiation. You will pay 200k more for the comparable wt.

Yes I agree the Toyota is also on the boring list, though the TRD version has some nice features. My initial feeling was the Wildtrack and the BT50 but are worried parts will be a problem down the road. Could this be why the BT50 drop that much more in value after 1-2 year comparred to Wildtrack and Toyota?

Nah, wt is still high because of the lengthy backorders so people willing to pay over the odds to secure one now.
