This will be my first Christmas in Thailand and I know this may sound boring, but would anyone know if any restaurant's in Udon Thani specialise in serving Christmas dinners?

No harm in forward planning!...Prep work ,that's what makes a special xmas dinner!

"...that's what makes a special xmas dinner!"

I doubt there's any advantage to planning Christmas dinner in Udon Thani 7 months ahead of time. Any restaurant that will be doing something special for Christmas ( as opposed to a restaurant that specializes in Christmas dinners) will advertise in the weeks before the event and more reliable & up to date information will also be available by posing the question on TV then.

Whatever information is given today could easily be incorrect by the time Christmas rolls around anyway.

English Christmas Dinner

Which particular branch of Christianity do you follow? Different calendar from the more mainstream sects??

It's nothing to do with religion, I'm fat and I like eating Christmas dinner, that's all..

I'm not trying to plan anything, it was just a general enquiry to seek out somewhere that might specialise in Christmas dinner in this area, that's all.

I am not familiar with Udon but experience in other areas suggests that you are far too early looking for someone doing a 2014 Xmas Dinner.

It is certainly worth asking if anyone did one LAST year, it may give somthing to go on - as would access to a local forum if there is one.

In other areas I have seen a group of Farangs pool together to create a festive feast.

I went to Siem Reap, Cambodia last year for my Xmas Dinner - an excellent, top quality offering (not cheap) at Abacus Bistro - ironically a French restaurant!
