Hi Im new here but im needing some advise on several things. Ive lived inThailand for over ten years and married for the past 9 years. Together we have a daughter who just turned 8 and a boy about to turn 2. We have dicided to go live in the UK my wifes been wanting to go ever since we met and now think if we ever go now would be the best time one of the the reasons bieng for schooling. Now this could turn out to be not the right move and we would come back if it doesnt work out but if we dont try you never know. Im probably the one least wanting to go but im kind off ready for a change again. We live in Krabi and my wife owns two homes that are rented out long term and they earn her over 30,000 baht a month. We have some savings over 300 k and i have a little back in the UK. At present my children have niether a Thai passport or english one and not sure whats the best Visa for my wife. I think the best visa for her is UK Spouse Visa to my understanding its initialy for two years and able to work straight away. My main questions are Whats the best visa for my wife and whats needed and where best to get it and how best to get british passports for my two children should i get them Thai ones first and where best to do these things and whats needed to do this. Ive been researching but wanted some advise from anyone that may have done something similar recently. Or know what to do. Any help / advise on anything mentioned will be very much appriciated. Also of topic but ill ask here If in a few years my Wife dicides she wants to sell one or both homes is there any problems she could face taking money out of Thailand into the UK.

Thanks in advance Paul.

Late at night now but I would suggest that you initially have a look at the pinned topic at the top of the forum regarding Settlement Visas, everything you need will be explained there, then come back if you have any specific questions.
