Yes, I used to be a fan of Donovan, way back when. I had no idea he was still living, and even performing. I live in Pattaya, and would be delighted to see him in concert here. Would that be more possible than trying to catch the wind?

Thinking of Donovan brings back memories of the late 60s and a summer sleeping rough in St Ives. When I was an undergraduate he was certainly big with my crowd . We were always trying to work out the chords - though I seem to remember that I lagged well behind some of my friends. Here is another song that was popular with us.

I'd certainly go to his concert if he comes here.

Hard Rock Cafe has probably the best stage, but doobie brothers' Danny Hull jammed at Leo's last weekend and if it's good enough for him....

I smoked my first joint (given to me by Donavan) in a club called the Studio in Southend about 1965. I also saw The Animals in the same club before "The House of the Rising Sun".

Saw Donovan at U of Oregon way back in 68, with Pau Horn. Good concert. His music has stood test of time, might even sound better now (have his greatest hits cd). John Lennon was quite taken with him, and fact he didn't need whole band behind him, this around era the bunch went off to India. I wasn't a huge fan, but I'd love to see him.
